Tackle Shop Purchases
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Just bring in your receipt and we will take care of you! Some of the items we carry come with a manufacturor’s warranty, and you may not discover a defect until you have already used the item. Rods and reels are not returned through the store but to the manufacturor so keep those receipts and if you need help contacting the warranty center for the product’s manufacturor we would be happy to help you…just come in and talk to our friendly staff!
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase! We do have ways of looking up receipts if you can give us enough information to search for your transaction, but as always, your best bet is to hold on to your receipt-especially on equipment purchases.
We do NOT return Gift Cards, Rain Checks, or boat passes. Additional things that are not eligible for returns:
Items with obvious signs of use
Any item not in its original condition, or is damaged or missing parts not due to our error
Trip Cancelations
If you need to cancel your booking, or a ticket on your booking, you must notify us within 48 hours from your trip’s departure time to receive a refund. Credit card processing fees will be applied against your refund in most cases.
For cancelations within the 48 hour window you will be offered a rain check for the purchase price of your booking or the spot/spots on your booking that you may apply towards any future trip, or a transfer to another trip if you have a date picked out you would like your spots moved to. Rain checks are good for one year after they are issued.
Cancelations the day of your trip, or no-shows are a forfeiture of all fees paid.
Extenuating circumstances such as hospitalization or family emergency will be considered on a case by case basis.
Canceling a charter requires 30 day notice or else the deposit is forfeited. Rescheduling a charter within a 30 day window will be considered on a case by case basis.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
It generally takes between 3-5 business days for a refund to post to your account. If you still have not received your refund after this time period has elapsed feel free to call us at 805-772-1222
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange items that are undamaged, and unopened in their original packaging, with a receipt.
